Two men arrested for arson attack outside B&Q

Police officers investigating a car fire in Chesterfield arrested two men on suspicion of arson yesterday (Thursday, September 8).

The arrests have been made in connection with an incident on Thursday, September 1, in the B&Q car park at the Spire Walk Business Park, off the Hornsbridge roundabout where it is believed a car, a Jaguar XK Dynamic R, was set alight deliberately.

A 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both from Chesterfield, have been questioned by police and released on bail.

Enquiries are still continuing into the incident and officers would like to thank several members of the public who have come forward.
