Two-car smash on M1 causes long delays
A two-car crash caused long delays on the M1 this morning.
Firefighters from Alfreton and Ashfield were called to junction 28 of the M1 southbound after a smash involving two cars on Tuesday.
Two people were released from their vehicles following the arrival of the fire service.
They were also treated by medical staff.
The stop message was received at 9.36am.
