Two-car smash on B6013

An elderly man is being treated in hospital after a car smash on the B6013.

Two cars were involved in the road traffic collision on Saturday, January 24 at around 4.30pm.

The crash involved a red Volkswagen UP and a silver Renault Clio who smashed into each other on B6013 Chesterfield Road, Oakerthorpe.

The 74-year-old man is in a serious condition following the collision and being treated at Chesterfield Hospital.

Anyone who saw the collision should contact Derbyshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 512-24/1/15.
