On a very warm evening for members of Tupton WI meeting in the village hall, the speaker, Susan Hyde, appeared cool, calm and glamorous. She told members how to dress with style, in colours which enhance natural colouring.
A fun quiz helped members to work out if they dress for comfort or style.
Jean Groom won the competition for “A Favourite Scarf”, with a velvet scarf she had made and dyed herself. Lynn and Enid Davis made the refreshments.
Letters of thanks were received from visitors to the branch’s birthday party in early July, including the new county chairman, Chrissie Booth.
Our belly dancing teacher, Cara, encouraged us to have a go, entertaining both those who did and those who watched.
