Four 1st Tuptons Scouts have been celebrating after being awarded their Chief Scout Gold Award. Max Baggaley, Ben Owen, Katie Trueman and Harvey Sykes were given award – the highest available in the Scouting section. To qualify for this award each scout has to complete eight challenge badges.

Qualifying for the Chief Scout Gold is the result of three-and-a-half years hard work during their time in scouting.

Each scout was presented their badge by district Scout leader Ashley Lawrence at a special award ceremony held at Tuptons Scout hut.

They will also be attending a county presentation on February 21.
