The year ten and 11 boys’ football teams from Tupton Hall School will take on each other at the Proact Stadium from 7.30pm next Tuesday.

They will be playing in memory of Wendy Moore, who worked as a receptionist at the school for more than 16 years.

She died of cancer earlier this year at the age of 59.

The football match will raise money for Ashgate Hospicecare, which helped Wendy in the final stages of her illness.

PE teacher Rich Tinsley said: “It’s a great event as the kids get to play at a top stadium and we also get to support a great charity which has some connection with just about every single person in Chesterfield in some way.”

Tickets are £2 for adults and £1 for children.
