Travel update for Derbyshire

Motorists and commuters in and around Derbyshire are being warned about the following delays and disruptions to travel today, Monday, November 30.

M1 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on M1 southbound between J25, A52 (Nottingham) and J24a, A50 (Derby), because of an earlier broken down vehicle. All lanes have been re-opened. Congestion to J26, A610 (Nottingham).

A50 Leicestershire - Heavy traffic on A50 eastbound in Castle Donington between J1, B6540 (Long Eaton) and Derby.

A601 Derbyshire - A601 Traffic Street in Derby closed northbound from the A601 Bradshaw Way junction to The Cock Pit Traffic Lights, because of Derby City Half Marathon.

M1 Derbyshire - Narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50 mph on M1 in both directions between J28, A38 (Alfreton) and J29a, Markham Vale, because of roadworks. Expect delays.
