Traffic stopped in both directions on M1 after 'police incident'
Traffic has been stopped in both directions near Chesterfield and Mansfield this morning February 28, following a police incident.

HIghways England advised at 10.02am that traffic has been stopped on the M1 in both directions between J29 and J28.
It added that traffic is at a standstill due to an incident involving Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit.
Deep Lane in Hardstoft, remains closed, part of which is a bridge over the motorway.
Normal traffic conditions are expected by 11.45am.
