One lane of four lanes is currently closed on the M1 between J29 and J28 after a vehicle broke down on the southbound carriageway this afternoon (Wednesday, February 12).
A Highways England spokesperson said that the incident should clear and normal traffic conditions expected to resume between 5pm and 5.15pm.
Traffic cameras show congestion in the area.
