TRAFFIC: Update for Derbyshire

Here is your morning travel update for Monday, June 1.

Traffic is being slowed on the southbound M1 between J29a (Markham Vale) and J29 (Heath) in the roadworks area.

Expect severe delays on Snake Pass, A57, after a closure yesterday in both directions between the Hurst Road junction in Glossop and Ladybower Reservoir in Bamford, because of roadworks.

Ongoing works witll cause hour delays with diversions over 30 miles.

Diversions in operation - A6013 through Bamford, A6187 through Hope and Castleton, B6049 to and from Sparrowpit, A623 and A6 past Chapel-en-le-Frith, A6015 between New Mills and Hayfield and A624 to and from Glossop.
