Derbyshire road closed due to "serious collision"
Emergency services have closed a Derbyshire road after a “serious collision” between a cyclist and a heavy goods vehicle.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit announced around 4.45pm the A52 Ashbourne Road is closed between Markeaton Roundabout and Prince Charles Avenue due to the accident.
The force said it was expected to remain closed for several hours, with drivers urged to avoid the area.
All other exits at Markeaton are open.
The condition of the cyclist is not known at this stage.
