Tory candidate arrives at Amber Valley count

Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Amber Valley Nigel Mills has now arrived at the count, with predictions that he will win with an increased majority.

Amber Valley is one of the most marginal seats in the country with just 536 votes separating the Tories and Labour in 2010.

Labour hopeful Kevin Gillott is hoping to topple Mills to turn Amber Valley red once more, but early exit polls suggest that the Conservatives will come back with a wider majority.

The count is set to begin at around 1am today (May 8)
