PACKAGING manufacturer inspirepac has defended its crown after scooping a prestigious award for the second year running.
The Chesterfield-based packaging firm, which won the Derbyshire’s BEST Business Awards’ Business of the Year award in 2010, has now clinched the 2011 title and also walked away with the competition’s Environment Award.
The awards - organised by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and the Derby Telegraph and partners - held a presentation ceremony at the Roundhouse, Derby, at the end of last month.
Group CEO Chris Marples said: “I am absolutely delighted that inspirepac has won this Business of the Year award for a second consecutive year.
“This award is testament to and recognition of the continued hard work, drive and enthusiasm that the employees within the inspirepac business continue to demonstrate year on year.”
The inspirepac firm was among businesses and entrepreneurs to clinch different honours in different categories including Tibshelf School which won the new Young Entrepreneurs of the Year Award.
