Eleven students from Tibshelf Community School recently participated in training to become Health Inspectors. The course was organised by Bolsover District Youth Council, Young Voice and run by Derbyshire Young People’s Health Service. After the training pupils will vist health services to assess how ‘young people friendly’ such providers actually are.
The course is the result of concerns that many young people are not accessing the health services they need.
Beth Briggs, Ashleigh Hill, Jack Storer, Lance Bunting, Connor Wright, Georgia Green, Courtney Smith, Chloe Patilla, Chloe Sinclair, Hannah Steele and Ellie Smith, will become part of a team from a number of schools in Bolsover and are looking forward to their new role.
