Thirty-six suspected cannabis planst found in Chesterfield flat

Thirty-six suspected cannabis plants were found at a flat in Chesterfield.

Police carried out a drugs warrant at Chepstow Close at 10.20am on Tuesday, January 8.

Suspected cannabis plants were found in three rooms in the vaxant propoerty.

A dog was also discovered in the flat which appeared to have been left alone for some time.

The RSPCA was informed and the dog was taken away.

A police spokesman said inquiries were on-going to find the property’s tenant.
