Tesco's discount store Jack's looks for managers in Clay Cross
Jack's - which is Tesco's new discount chain - has launched a search for two managers in Clay Cross.
The company is advertising for a store manager and an assistant manager in the town.
The job adverts state: "At Jack's we are proud to be launching a new brand and new stores.
"As part of the Tesco family, Jack's will stock a unique own brand range, also proudly named Jack's as a mark of quality and value.
"We have a no fuss approach with a simplified range of products, no fancy fixtures or fittings and no added extras, just good great-tasting quality products at low prices."
The Derbyshire Times asked Tesco if Jack's will replace the existing Tesco store in Clay Cross or if a new, separate shop will open in the town.
A Tesco spokesperson responded: "We are always looking for new opportunities to better serve customers in communities across the country.
"Clay Cross is one area we are looking at but plans are yet to be finalised."
Jack's is named after Tesco founder Sir Jack Cohen.
When it was unveiled in the autumn, chief executive Dave Lewis said Jack's would be cheaper than Aldi or Lidl.
