Teenager killed in Eckington collision is named

A teenager who died after the car he was a passenger in crashed in to a wall has been named.

Harvey Tyzack-Jackson was killed and another teenager seriously injured after the collision at around 1am on Saturday, May 17.

A silver Peugeot 106 collided with a wall on Chesterfield Road, Eckington, near to Marsh Quarry.

The 18-year-old who was a rear seat passenger, suffered fatal injuries.

The other rear seat passenger, a 19-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.

The driver and front seat passenger suffered minor injuries.

The vehicle was travelling from Chesterfield in the direction of Eckington when the collision took place. No other vehicles were involved.

Derbyshire police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed this collision or events leading up to it.
