Whitwell FC under-tens squad will be looking smart this season with a new kit sponsored by Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre.

Kris Passey, the team’s manager, said: “We would like to thank Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre for its support, enabling us to kit out the team for the season ahead.

“The kits look really good and make the kids feel like they are playing for a proper team.”

Steve Booker, the centre’s hospital director, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to support a local team of young budding footballers.

“The team and their coaches visited the treatment centre recently wearing their kit and they looked very good.

“We wish them every success for the season ahead.”
