Team GB relay hero Anyika Onuora took time away from her busy training schedule yesterday morning to welcome shoppers through the doors at the grand opening of Aldi's Clay Cross store.

Onuora, who represents Team GB in the women’s 4 x 400m relay, said of the launch: "It was great to chat with so many of the shoppers, swapping healthy meal recipes and taking selfies. As an athlete, it's really important that my diet keeps me performing at the top level. For that, you need high quality, fresh food – and you can't go wrong with Aldi!"
