Takeaway delivery driver hit with skateboard and robbed in shocking attack

A takeaway delivery driver was struck with a skateboard and robbed in South Normanton.

At about 8pm on Sunday, April 8, a takeaway delivery driver dropped off an order in Lees Lane when he walked past a group of three teenage boys.

The delivery driver was struck, he believes by a skateboard, which one one of the boys was holding, and he fell to the floor.

When he got up, he realised his wallet had been stolen and the youths were gone. He suffered cuts to his hands.

He has described the boys as being aged around 15. The one with the dark grey skateboard was of mixed race, slim and around 5ft 8ins tall. He had dark hair and wore dark tracksuit trousers. Another youth had a bicycle. He is white, has short, dark hair and may have been wearing dark jeans. The third boy has dark hair.
