Suspected cannabis plants found during drugs search at Eckington home

A man has been questioned by officers following a drug search at a property in Eckington.

Officers from the Eckington Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the warrant on Friday, December 8, at Cedar Close.

A number of suspected Cannabis plants were discovered.

The 34-year-old man, who is from the Eckington area, has been released pending further enquiries.

PC Niall Kendellen said: “We will always investigate any information we receive from the community and take action when necessary.
