Street rocked by wedding crashers
Traders demonstrated to customers how they could help out on their big day.
The Smedley Street Business Group held a Crash the Wedding event on Friday evening to show how the different stores could contribute to planning a big event such as a wedding.
Teresa Whittaker, of Bella Figura, in Smedley Street, said: “It was a lovely and it was a really nice summer evening to have it. Plenty of people dressed up for the occasion.”
She added that customer Janice Benson wore her wedding dress from more than 30 years ago.
