Stories and songs for kids
To celebrate National Bookstart Week parents and children at Ripley Library read stories, sang songs and made crafts.
Each year National Bookstart Week is organised by the Booktrust charity.
Derbyshire County Council cabinet deputy member for health and communities Cllr Ellie Wilcox said: “This is a great way to encourage parents and carers to read to their children from the day they are born.”
