A company is marketing new apartments in Staveley.

Last year, Chesterfield Borough Council approved a planning application to turn the former Elm Tree Inn on High Street into 23 apartments.

Now the properties are being marketed by specialists from Everard Cole.

John Heald, director of Everard Cole, said: "While known for its industrial heritage, Staveley is a popular and busy market town.

"The former Elm Tree site is ideally situated close to the numerous local shops, restaurants and pubs in the town, the Healthy Living Leisure Centre and Morrisons supermarket.

"With a growing population of over 18,000 the development will help meet the housing requirements of the area."
