Spectacular lorry collision: Derbyshire police warn HGV drivers to control their speed
Derbyshire police have used his spectacular image of a HGV smash to warn lorry drivers to use the correct speed when approaching roundabouts.
Derbyshire Roads Policing unit tweeted this evening (Wednesday April 22):
“A50 junction with the A515 at Sudbury. Collision between two HGVs, one rolled over. This roundabout requires drivers to consider that the speed of their approach is appropriate to the vehicle they are driving - it's not a race. Recovery in progress. #Highways #Traffic #Travel”
