Snow causes traffic chaos in Derbyshire

The A6 Fairfield Road in Buxton is blocked this morning and there is heavy traffic between the Waterswallows Road junction and the A53 Spring Gardens junction because of snow, which is also causing queues on the B5059 Dale Road, in Buxton between the A515 High Street and the A6 Bakewell Road junction.

Likewise, the A515 Terrace Road, in Buxton, is partially blocked and there is queuing traffic near the A53 Station Road junction due to snow.

Elsewhere traffic is congested on the eastbound carriageway of the A610 between junction 26 of the M1 Kimberley and the B6004 Broxtowe Lane, Nottingham.

There is heavy traffic on the southbound carriageway of the M1 at junction 29 for the A617.
