Sisters Rachel and Caroline Edge, of Eyam, have lost over three stone each after a tough slimming programme and have targeted the village’s half-marathon on May 19.

Rachel said: “We’ve both lost over three stone and came up with the idea of doing one of the country’s toughest half-marathons and now my sister Caroline and I are both in training to raise over £775 for Ashgate Hospice.”
