Singing kids to take shoppers by surprise

Musical youngsters will be warbling their way into the hearts of shoppers when they descend upon a town centre.

Children from Curbar Primary School’s choir will be entertaining the public in Bakewell town centre on Friday.

During the afternoon, they will be surprising passers–by by singing ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’ in two different locations.

The first performance will be in the Cooperative supermarket shortly after 1.30pm and the second will be outside the fish and chip shop, in Water Street, at around 2.30pm.
