Singers aiming for top notes on stage
More than 30 primary schools from Derbyshire will be represented at the Young Voices concert in Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena.
Pupils from Chesterfield’s Highfield Hall will form part of a 7,000-strong choir which will sing with I’m A Celebrity queen and X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon.

Hide AdGuided by Sally Briddon and Sue Coates, the Highfield Hall choir has been working hard for three months to learn the words and tunes for 12 different compositions, the favourite of which is a pop medley.
For some of the children, it will be the first time that they have sung in front of an audience.
Highfield Hall’s headteacher Gary Martin said: “This an amazing opportunity for the choir, they are loving learning the songs and I know they will enjoy the concert even more. Being able to perform at the Motorpoint Arena is something they will remember for a very long time.”
