Shop staff brewing up cash for children's charity

Shop workers brewed up pots of cash for a good cause at a Mad Hatters tea party.'¨The party formed part of a day of Alice in Wonderland-themed fundraising at The Original Factory Shop in Staveley.'¨Staff in fancy dress ran a bake sale and raffle in aid of Make A Wish children's charity.

Carla Lambert, manager, said: “We raised £535, an amazing amount. We would like to thank the Staveley community for its support and generosity. We are striving to reach the £1,000 target; myself and Jonathan Beach-Handy, assistant manager of the Bolsover branch, will be doing a sponsored skydive at the end of August.”
