Shirebrook firefighters come to aid of dog
Shirebrook firefighters rescued a small dog which had fallen down a manhole this morning.
The rescue took place shortly after 6.30am.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: "The manhole was open as the cover was removed.
"The local council has been made aware of this and will be attending."
