Scouts climb equivalent of Everest for charity
The 5th Matlock Scout Group climbed the 8878 metres – the height of Mount Everest – by ascending and descending the stairs of All Saints Church.
During the twelve–hour sponsored period the scouts actually managed to climb the equivalent of Everest not once, or even twice, but four times.
