A PROBE into a school bus collision with a bridge – that ripped the vehicle’s roof off – is continuing.
In total 18 children were taken to hospital when the TM Travel double decker, taking youngsters to St Mary’s catholic secondary school in Chesterfield, crashed into a low railway bridge on Works Road, Barrow Hill, on the morning on Tuesday March 15.
All have been discharged and returned to school but investigations continue.
Police say the driver is still helping them with inquiries. VOSA confirmed it had inspected the vehicle and submitted findings to officers.
Witnesses, or anyone with information, can call Derbyshire Constabulary on 0345 123 3333.
