A SUPER-FIT sponsored runner hopes to donate over £1,000 in pledges to Chesterfield’s Ashgate Hospice by taking on the London Marathon.

Esther Ingle, of Dronfield, will be joined by a group of friends during the 26mile challenge on Sunday, April 22, who have also chosen to run and support the hospice, on Ashgate Road.

Mrs Ingle said: “The hospice does such a good job for those suffering with cancer and after my husband had to overcome skin cancer it made me realise what an important role this charity has in our community.”

Simon James Cars, of Unstone, has been so impressed by Esther and her friends that the company has donated running vests for their run.
