Royal visit for Bakewell today
Bakewell is getting set for a Royal visit today (Monday).
Arriving mid-morning, the Duke of Gloucester will be visiting Derbyshire Dales District Council’s Agricultural Business Centre (ABC), Bakewell, as well as the Monday stallmarket and the Visitor Centre in the town.
The Duke, who will meet several local farmers, will have an opportunity to view livestock auctions in progress at the ABC.
The popular stall market has been a fixture in the heart of Bakewell since 1330.
