Residents are visited by a little angel
Pictured are proud Pinxton dad Alex Fisher, six-year-old daughter Emmy Fisher, son Ruben, four and staff at Alfreton-based Meadows Care Home. Emmy visited the home with her father at Christmas to hand-deliver personalised cards to some of the 34 residents.
Alex said: “We thought getting the residents’ names was important, as we wanted it to be personalised and special for them, and the response was amazing.
“The residents loved that they were hand-delivered as they got a chance to chat with Emmy and her younger brothers while they received a card made especially for them, which made the residents light up.”
