A MUM who has suffered four miscarriages is organising a remembrance event for bereaved parents.
Clare Freeland decided to become a civil funeral celebrant after losing her last two babies as well as experiencing the death of her brother.
She will conduct the service on October 15 - which is also National Baby Loss Awareness Day.
Clare, 39, of Coal Aston, said being able to have a ceremony for son George after she miscarried at four months had helped she and her husband mourn.
“This is why a remembrance ceremony is so close to my heart and important to me. As well as why I am glad to hold a ceremony to mark loss at any stage.”
The ceremony, for anyone who has lost a baby during or just after pregnancy, takes place from 3pm at Dore Masonic Hall, off Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield.
