The show will be recorded at the historic Winding Wheel then air on BBC1 at 10.45pm.

Audience members will be asking questions of the panel which will be made up of:

Liz Truss MP, chief secretary to the treasury and former justice secretary, Conservative;

► Emily Thornberry MP, shadow foreign secretary, Labour;

► Vince Cable MP, leader of the Liberal Democrats;

► Nesrine Malik, columnist for The Guardian;

► Iain Dale, LBC presenter.

Chesterfield MP Toby Perkins tweeted: "Hope they enjoy their visit to our town."

David Dimbleby, who has presented Question Time since 1994, said: "I am very much looking forward to bringing Question Time to Chesterfield for the first time.

"What really matters is that we have a lively audience who want to speak their mind.
