Pupils visit corridoors of power

Six schoolgirls from Mid-Derbyshire toured the House of Commons and supped tea in the Speakers apartments after being invited to shadow their local MP.

The youngsters were the given the opportunity by MP Pauline Latham as part of International Women’s Day which celebrates women’s economic, cultural and social achievements across the world and throughout history.
