Probus club members grow funds of two Clay Cross projects
Clay Cross & District Probus Club chiefs have presented £500 each to two initiatives in the town.
Retiring president Les Unwin handed over a cheque to a representative of the Methodist Community Garden and the incoming president David Allin gave a cheque to a delegate from the Kenning Park restoration group.
The money was raised by the club at the Clay Cross gala and a race night held at the Clay Cross Social Centre last October.
