Popular Chesterfield school teacher recognised for '˜outstanding' work

A popular teacher has been recognised for '˜outstanding' work at her Chesterfield school.

Louise Bramley, a teacher at Outwood Academy Newbold, has been awarded the ‘Outstanding Teacher of the Term’ award for all her hard work by education recruitment agency, Hays Education.

Teachers like Louise, show how much of an impact supply teachers can make on a school and its pupils, we extend our congratulations to Louise on her award.”

Louise has been teaching at Outwood Academy Newbold since October 2016 and has ‘consistently received great feedback’.

The role she has taken on is both a teaching and technician role and she is said to have worked hard in both roles with ‘no questions asked’.

Louise is also said to be ‘incredibly reliable’ and is ‘always punctual’.

Upon receiving her award, Louise said: “Thank you so much, this is such a surprise. I have loved working here at Newbold and this is a great end to my time here.”

Last year, the school achieved its best set of GCSE results with 71 per cent of pupils getting a grade C or above in maths and English.

Year 13 A Level students also surpassed previous years’ results.

Pupils will receive A Level results today and GCSE results next Thursday.
