Chesterfield RSPCA's Fun Dog Show takes place at Eastwood Park in Hasland on Saturday, June 23.

Do you have a doggie with the waggiest tail?

Is your hound the loveliest lady or most fabulous fella?

If so, the RSPCA is calling on dog lovers to go along to its Fun Dog Show at Eastwood Park, Hasland, on Saturday June 23, from 11am -4pm.

The show, in aid of the Chesterfield Animal Centre Rebuild Appeal, is the charity’s biggest event of the year and attracts visitors from across the area.

Sponsored by Dunston Lodge Boarding Kennels, Hunters Estate Agents, Spire Workwear along with many other businesses from across Chesterfield, there are two show rings holding a total of 14 fun classes.

Owners can enter their dogs in a range of categories such as ‘Best Condition’, ‘Best Rescue Dog’ and ‘Dog the Judges Would Most Like to Take Home’.

There is also dog agility to try and many stalls, food, tombolas and entertainment for all the family.

On the day, registration for each class is £2.50 but a 20 per cent discount is available for owners who pre-register online at www.chesterfield-rspca.org.uk.

Event organiser Steph McCawley said: “We are so excited that our dog show is nearly here and can’t wait to meet all the fabulous dogs and their owners on the day.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to combine a great day out with helping support our appeal to raise funds to modernise the Animal Centre.”
