Residents and shoppers in Chesterfield are to be given the opportunity to meet local safer neighbourhood officers when visiting the town centre.
Members of the Chesterfield town centre safer neighbourhood team are to host regular police ‘surgeries’ at the BHS department store on Vicar Lane to chat to members of the public.
They will be on hand to discuss any issues or concerns people may have and offer crime prevention advice around personal, home and vehicle security.
The events will take place on the third Monday of every month, starting on Monday, July 20, between 10am and 12pm and everyone is welcome to drop-in and meet the officers.
For more information you can speak to your local safer neighbourhood team on 101 or you can also follow @ChesterfieldSNT on Twitter to keep up to date on local policing in the area.
