Police trying to trace owner of bike

Police from in Matlock are trying to trace the owner of a mountain bike, which was found by officers in the town.

The Trek 4300 bike was recovered by police on October 5 and is currently being stored at Matlock police station, in Bank Road.

The bike is blue and silver in colour and has a number of identifying features on it.

Anyone who thinks the bike might belong to them is asked to contact Sergeant Adam Bryan from Matlock Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 and give their details.

Anyone wishing to claim the bike will be required to identify the specific markings on it.
