Police teach Bakewell pupils about the dangers of strangers

Youngsters in Bakewell and Bradwell have been learning more about stranger danger and the importance of staying safe when out and about following a visit from local officers.

PCSOs Hayley Grundy and David Seabridge from the Bakewell Safer Neighbourhood Team have been heading out on the beat to chat to local children about Stranger Danger and bullying.

The policing team visited Bakewell Scouts Group on Monday, January 25 before heading to Bradwell CE Infants School the following day. During the visits, PCSO Grundy and PCSO Seabridge gave a talk around Stranger Danger and explained to youngsters what to do if they ever felt scared, threatened or unsafe whilst out.
