Police reminder on responsible riding

POLICE are reminding people to make sure they use off road motorbikes responsibly, safely and legally after two vehicles were seized in two days.
At around 7.15pm last Thursday, officers were called to reports of a nuisance bike being ridden around the Middlecroft and Inkersall area.

They stopped the mini-moto on McMahon Avenue and the bike was seized from an 18-year-old man, who had been riding it on pavements and in and out of cars.
The day before a dark coloured off road pit bike was confiscated from a 16-year-old boy who was spotted riding it on a public footpath in the Cresswell Road area in Clowne.
