Police have named a man who died after his car hit a bridge in a Derbyshire village.
Officers were called to Huthwaite Lane, Blackwell, after a Ford Fiesta struck the bridge at about 6.50am on Monday.
The driver died at the scene.
Police have now formally identified him as 44-year-old Martin Coverley, of Raven Avenue, Tibshelf.
The road was closed while collision investigators examined the scene and made the area safe.
The road was reopened later in the morning.
Anyone with information or witnesses to the crash should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting incident number 95 of April 11.
