Police issue new picture of missing Derbyshire teenager as concerns grow for her safety

Police have issued a new picture of a missing 17-year-old girl from Derbyshire.

Ashna Esmail was last seen in the High Peak town of Hadfield at around 6pm on Sunday.

Police say they are ‘increasingly concerned’ for her safety.

Ashna Esmail.

Ashna, who is 5ft 2in tall, is believed to be wearing a distinctive blue and camouflage North Face puffer jacket, black legging and black Nike trainers.

She also has bleached blonde hair which appears almost ginger in colour.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said: “We believe Ashna has links to the Shelton area of Stoke-on-Trent and the Fenham area of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

“She also has links to Manchester.”
