Police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged assault in Old Whittington.

The incident is reported to have happened on Burnbridge Road, between Potters Close and Ashcroft Drive, just after 7pm on Wednesday, October 31.

A 49-year-old man said he was assaulted and then an altercation took place in the street.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Were you in the area at the time of the alleged assault?

"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any dashcam or CCTV footage of the area."
