Police appeal after car is damaged in Youlgreave

Police are appealing for information after a car was damaged in Youlgreave.

The offence occurred sometime between 7.30pm and 8pm on Tuesday, September 20 when offenders used a sharp instrument to damage the paintwork of a silver Vauxhall Astra parked on the driveway of a property on Grove Place.

The side and rear panels of the vehicle were scratched in the incident.

Police are urging residents to remain vigilant and to report suspicious activity to police on 101 or 999 if a crime is in action. They are also encouraging residents to consider purchasing CCTV to help deter thieves and further protect their property.
